Allow me to tell a few things about myself and my reason for starting a blog.
I was born in 1938 (in Haifa) to a Jewish Israeli mother and an Arab Christian father (Palistina)
I went to a Christian college in Haifa and after that went with a group of teenagers to the Kibbutz for two years. The name of the Kibbutz was "RAMAT YOCHANEN.
After the Kibbutz, i joined the Israeli army as a member of the 202's paratroopers brigade (pictures will follow shortly)
After the Kibbutz, I fought in the 1956 war (Sinai Campaign)
I joined the Police Force after my discharge for two years.
In 1960 I joined the Marine Navy (Merchants), I would do this to 1967; sailing for the Zim Company.
I came to the Netherlands in february 1967, where I still live as of this moment.
----------------------------------------------------------
I will go into much more detail shortly, and use this blog to promote my book Born in the Holy land; in which I go into much more detail. Feel free to ask any questions related to the blog posts, i'd be very happy to answer them.
I would gladly also answer questions about the situation in the Middle East and about the Israeli and Palestinian mentality, since i'm 50% of each (plus having 70+ years of knowledge!)
I would also like to share my opinions about life after death.
If at any point, you have any questions. please let me know!
Sincerely yours,
Gabriel Matta
